Here's a good article from the New Yorker about one woman's experience with autoimmune illness. But it completely relates to us M.E. sickies as well. Just the whole idea that many immune type illnesses don't fit clearly into a category.

Thank you for sharing this…I was too tired to read it all today but scanned…my doctor has always had me on hypothalamus support…so that was interesting haven't had an MRI ever - don't think i could handle the contrast and sometimes what's the point…thanks Gail. Be well…or as well as we can be xo H
ReplyDeleteI did one (MRI) for my pancreas…I didn't notice any ill effects, although there wasn't any contrast involved. The CT there was, but I didn't seem to crash from that, more just the outing itself. Hope you are doing AWAP these days Heather.
